Indian actor Ayushmann Khurrana is best known for selecting quality movie scripts and he has delivered a number of memorable performances underlying social welfare messages. While the actor recently had an outing with the comedy-drama Doctor G, he is already prepping for the release of his next action thriller, An Action Hero.
The first trailer of An Action Hero featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat garnered mostly positive reviews from the audience and the fans of the actors are keenly waiting for the movie’s release. At a recent event, Ayushmann opened up on bidding goodbye to his signature roles with his first out-and-out action thriller and shared interesting updates about the project.
Surprising the audience, Ayushmann Khurrana revealed that An Action Hero doesn’t have a female lead and there will be no love interest of the lead actor to focus on the primary plot. The actor said that the story of the movie doesn’t demand a female lead and the team decided to not force a romantic track. However, he confirmed that the movie will have special appearances by Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora in songs.
Helmed by Anirudh Iyer, An Action Hero features Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat pitted against each other in a comic action drama. Bankrolled by Aanand L Rai and T Series, the movie is slated for a release on the 2nd of December.
