Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is on a work spree and he has back to back highly-anticipated projects lined up in his work calendar. While he is currently busy filming his signed projects, reports suggest that he is being approached by renowned filmmaker Subhash Ghai to play late veteran actor Dilip Kumar in his biopic.
Dilip Kumar has been one of the most iconic actors that the Bollywood industry has ever witnessed and has given many memorable performances throughout his acting career. While he left for his heavenly abode in July last year, his legacy lives on and if reports are to be believed, filmmaker Subhash Ghai wants to present his life story on the big screen in a full-fledged biopic.
While the project is currently in the ideation stage, the reports suggest that Amitabh Bachchan is the first choice of Subhash Ghai to play the larger-than-life character of Dilip Kumar in his biopic. While Dilip Kumar is a household name and his fans live in all generations, his real-life story is equally interesting and deserves to be told through movies.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen playing a key role in Karan Johar’s magnum opus, Brahmastra, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leads. He also has Runway 34, Project K, Jhund, The Intern remake, Goodbye, and more in the pipeline.
