Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be re-uniting with ace filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya in his upcoming much-anticipated movie, Uunchai. The movie went on the floors recently with the lead cast comprising of Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. It was recently reported that Amitabh Bachchan will be joining the cast in December for a key role in the movie.
The cast and crew of the movie have been travelling to several locations for the filming of the movie in recent months and as per a source close to the development of the movie, Big B will be joining the team soon. The report suggests that the veteran actor will be playing a key role in the movie and a set is being constructed in the Mehboob Studios in the Bandra Mumbai. Amitabh will be joining the team once the set is ready for filming.
The movie will mark Amitabh Bachchan and Sooraj Barjatya’s reunion after 48 years when they worked together in the 1973 film Saudagar. The movie will also feature veteran actress Sarika in a pivotal role and will mark her reunion with Big B after iconic movies like Satte Pe Satta and Nastik.
Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya and featuring Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Amitabh Bachchan and Sarika in pivotal roles. The highly-anticipated movie is scheduled for a release next year.
