Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is one of the very rare gems of the Indian entertainment industry who has managed to entertain his fans for a half-century. The actor has been working hard despite health complications and his next with Rashmika Mandanna, Goodbye, will be going on the floors in the upcoming week.
Amitabh Bachchan had earlier penned down some details about the anticipated project on his blog while he was going for eye surgery. “My love to all… progress is slow… and there is yet another eye to go… so it’s a long haul… hoping of course that it all gets well in time for my schedule which begins in a few… the new film with Vikas Bahl, tentatively titled ‘GoodBye’. Some of the stills from the look test were put up… but they are just a test, nothing has been finalised,” he had written.
Now, according to a source close to the development of the project, Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is expected to go on the floors next week. The makers are planning to kickstart the filming of the project in Chandigarh from April 5. The major chunks of the movie will be shot in Punjab while some will be shot in Mumbai studio where parts of Chandigarh have been recreated for the shooting.
Helmed by Vikas Bahl, the tentatively titled project Goodbye features Amitabh Bachchan in the lead alongside Rashmika Mandanna. While the details of the project are kept under tight wraps, the movie is expected to hit the theatres in the last quarter of the year.
