Megastar Amitabh Bachchan returned to the small screen with the twelfth season of his popular quiz-based reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati on Monday with a warm welcome from his fans. While the premiere of the reality show was highly anticipated, the first episode also turned out to be emotional for Sushant Singh Rajput fans.
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly killed himself on June 14 leaving behind a series of questions which are still being investigated by CBI, ED, and NCB. While the late actor became a household name after his demise, the first episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 couldn’t complete without a question related to Sushant Singh Rajput. The first contestant of the quiz-based reality show, Aarti Jagtap, was quizzed about Sushant Singh Rajput’s posthumous release and given its popularity, she answered the question without the help of any lifelines.
For the second question, Aarti was asked, “Which actress made her debut in a leading role, in the film that featured this song?’ and a song of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Dil Bechara was played. Aarti managed to correctly answer the question and Amitabh Bachchan talked about Sushant Singh Rajput and his last movie in brief. The Mukesh Chhabra directorial starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead roles and broke many records with its OTT premiere.
Meanwhile, CBI continues its probe in the actor’s alleged suicide case and on Monday, AIIMS forensic team submitted its second opinion on Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem report along with the Viscera report. The agency is yet to conclude the actual cause of the actor’s untimely demise.
