The crime drama is a spin-off of the iconic character from the Vidya Balan directorial, Kahani. While the trailer has been loved by everyone, Abhishek’s father and the veteran Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan, has now praised his performance.
Sharing his excitement and proud moment, Big B took to his social media handle to share his reaction to the trailer of Abhishek Bachchan starrer Bob Biswas and wrote, “T 4100 – I am proud to say you are my Son ! … BYCMJBBN.” Abhishek Bachchan replied to the tweet and said, “Love you, Pa. Featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangada Singh in pivotal roles, Bob Biswas is a spin-off of the popular thriller, Kahani. The makers wrapped the filming of the movie last year amid the pandemic and they have been looking for a release ever since. The crime thriller will premiere on ZEE5 and makers will soon announce the release date of the highly-anticipated movie. The date is yet to be locked as the team are going back and forth to find the best period to release the movie and get the maximum exposure.
Helmed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, Bob Biswas features Abhishek Bachchan as the iconic character from the Vidya Balan starrer and the actor has undergone a physical transformation to make his character more realistic. Along with Abhishek, the movie also features Chitrangada Singh, Tina Desai, and Ditipriya Roy in key roles. We might also witness a cameo of Vidya Balan in the spin-off.
