An official Hindi remake of the critically-acclaimed Hollywood drama, The Intern, was announced a year ago with Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor playing the key roles. However, after the unfortunate demise of the legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor, the movie had hit a backburner. Recently, it was informed that Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in to play Kapoor’s part in the movie and now Deepika Padukone has made it official with a movie poster.
Deepika, who is also producing the movie, took to her social media handle to release the first poster of the movie and wrote, “What an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-star again! Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern.”
