Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, better known as BigB has blogged on social media about his purchases of 50 oxygen concentrators from Poland. He also talks about his donations of ventilators to BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

In his latest blog entry, Mr Bachchan, in his deepest gratitude thanks profusely the Govt., of Poland, the Mayor of the City of Wroclaw, the Ambassador of India at Warsaw and the LOT Polish Airlines for their very gracious gesture towards him. He says that the general call from the places that were in need of help had been for the urgent need of Oxygen Concentrators. When the actor was not getting any immediate source to acquire these resources and it was becoming difficult to procure, his friend and the Indian Consul in Wroclaw stepped up to lend a hand.

Additionally. He tells that the latter, on being aware of his work in the procurement of Concentrators, came up with the name and details of a Polish Company that was producing them and exporting these resources to the various parts of the world and whether this could be one of the sources for his need.

Bacchan informs how he immediately placed an order for 50 Oxygen Concentrators, which were blocked for him since the equipment was short in supply and was being manufactured and sold out rapidly. Finally, he says that he has bought 50 concentrators and they are all shipped now. Some Oxygen Concentrators, have been ordered from another source as well and about 60 of them are expected to arrive in a few days.

On donating ventilators to BMC, Big B has mentioned that the need for Ventilators has been acute as well. The BMC told him to not give money, but to get them Ventilators in form of donations. This has been an onerous task as well, but fortunately, another Agency has stepped forward and is helping the actor with his order. Amitabh Bacchan has ordered 20 ventilators, 10 of which have arrived and been delivered to the BMC and a few Municipal Hospitals in Mumbai.
