American blockbuster series ‘Breaking bad’ starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in the leads, that wrapped up in the year 2013 with its Fifth season, might soon be made into a feature film.
The AMC series created by Vince Gilligan chronicled around the characters of Walter White (Cranston), a depressed and struggling high school chemistry professor who gets diagnosed with cancer. Together with his ex-student Jesse Pinkman (Paul) creates a huge drug empire to secure enough finances to cater for his treatment and smooth running of his family post his death.
However, to achieve all that, they enter the dark world of crime wherein White from a family man turns into a obsessed and ruthless drug kingpin monster, eventually dying in the finale episode ‘Felina’.
The upcoming ‘Breaking Bad’ movie is said to be a spin off sequel of the series’s most loved and admired character Jesse Pinkman, after he drives off from the death spot of Walter.
The series went on to be known as one of the best American Neo-western crime thriller series, winning multiple awards. It was also followed by a spin off series ‘Better Call Saul’ in the year 2015.
