American actress Amber Heard is currently one of the most hated celebrities on the internet owing to the her recent legal scuffle with ex-husband Johnny Depp. While millions of netizens signed an online petition to remove Amber Heard from the DC Cinematic Universe’s upcoming superhero movie, Aquaman 2, the latest report suggests that the makers at HBO are instead giving her more work.

Meanwhile Johnny Depp lost numerous projects after loosing his Libel trial with a tabloid who called him a ‘wife beater’, the ill situation hasn’t affected the career of Amber Heard so far. The netizens have been demanding equal treatment to Amber Heard as well post Johnny Depp was dropped from the future instalments of Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise. As per a report published by We Got This Covered, the makers of the movie are in talks with HBO Max for a Spin-Off show of her character, Mera, from Aquaman.

Though it is still in the initial discussion, it is certain that Amber Heard has a long sustaining career with the DC superhero franchise. She also shot some additional scenes for the Zack Snyder’s upcoming HBO Max series, Justice League: Director’s Cut. There are also speculations that Warner Bros are planning to rope in a parallel female lead with Amber Heard’s Mera in focus.
