Allu Arjun, fresh off the massive success of Pushpa 2, is already setting his sights on upcoming projects. The latest buzz suggests that the pan-India superstar has secured another major film, this time with renowned director Atlee, known for Jawan. Initially, Atlee was rumored to be collaborating with Bollywood icon Salman Khan, but recent reports indicate a shift in plans.
According to Peeping Moon, Allu Arjun has stepped in to replace Salman Khan after Atlee faced certain challenges with the original casting. While the official paperwork is still in progress, sources claim that the Pushpa star has given his approval in principle and is likely to begin working on the film soon. Discussions about shooting schedules and production details are underway, with pre-production expected to start around April or May.
The film, reportedly a high-budget two-hero project, will be backed by Sun Pictures. While Allu Arjun has been confirmed, the rest of the cast, including the female leads, is yet to be finalized. Janhvi Kapoor is rumored to be a strong contender for a key role, but no official announcement has been made. When asked about the casting change, Atlee’s spokesperson responded, “Honestly, I have no clue… it’s everywhere.”
Meanwhile, Atlee recently produced Baby John, an action-packed Bollywood film starring Varun Dhawan. However, he has remained tight-lipped about his next directorial venture. As for Allu Arjun, he has several unannounced projects lined up, making this collaboration one of the most anticipated in the industry.
