Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt has proved her mantle time and again with her iconic performances in her movies throughout her short but strong career. While the actress is lauded for taking Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next Gangubai Kathiawadi entirely on her shoulder, her fans are also excited to see her first outing with another critically acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli. However, the expectations seem to hit a roadblock as the latest reports suggest that the actress will have the shortest role of her career in RRR.

According to a source close to the development of one of the biggest and most anticipated movies, RRR, Alia Bhatt will have a significantly smaller screen presence in the movie. According to the report, her role will have no longer than 15 minutes of playing time in the Ram Charan and N.T. Rama Rao Jr. starrer RRR. The actress is said to be playing a key role in the movie, however, the movie will have its entire focus on Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

As per the source, Alia Bhatt was keen on working with SS Rajamouli irrespective of her role in the movie and when she got the chance to play a role in his upcoming action drama, she gave her nod immediately. Meanwhile, she will be playing the lead in the crime drama, Gangubai Kathiawadi, helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
