Akshay Kumar has been the busiest actor for decades and the most profitable asset for the Indian box office. While the actor recently made the headlines for being listed in the Forbes list of Most Influential Celebrities on Social Media in the Asia-Pacific region and highest-paid actor of Bollywood, he is leaving no stones unturned to make his movies stand out.
As per earlier reports, Akshay Kumar will be reuniting with Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti for another sci-fi drama which is tentatively titled as Mission Lion. If reports are to be believed, Mission Lion will be a cinematic treat for the audience with heavy VFX work as the makers are reportedly not putting a cap on the budget for visual effects. The sci-fi entertainer is touted to be one of the most expensive movies of the Khiladi Kumar after his stint in 2.0.
While there has not much revelation on the plot and characters of the project, it is being reported that Akshay Kumar will be doing a double role after a long time. The movie is expected to go on the floors in the last quarter of 2021 with a tentative release in 2022. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has a lineup of movie releases including spy thriller Bell Bottom, actioner Bachchan Pandey, and cop-drama Sooryavanshi.
