Bollywood fans are in for a nostalgic treat as Akshay Kumar announces the re-release of his beloved 2007 romantic comedy, Namastey London. The film, which originally hit theaters on March 23, 2007, will make a grand comeback on March 14, 2025, coinciding with the festive spirit of Holi.

Taking to social media, Akshay Kumar shared his excitement, saying, “Thrilled to announce the re-release of #NamasteyLondon on the big screen this Holi, 14th March! Get ready to relive the magic—unforgettable songs, iconic dialogues, and timeless romance with Katrina Kaif, all over again. See you at the movies!” The announcement, accompanied by a vibrant poster featuring Akshay and Katrina Kaif, quickly gained traction, with fans celebrating the return of this timeless classic.

Directed and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Namastey London remains one of Akshay Kumar’s most cherished films. The story revolves around Jazz (Katrina Kaif), a British-Indian woman reluctant to embrace her Indian heritage, and Arjun (Akshay Kumar), a Punjabi man she is forced to marry. The film’s heartwarming narrative, coupled with its chartbuster soundtrack by Himesh Reshammiya, made it a major hit, ranking it as the ninth-highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2007. Songs like Main Jahaan Rahoon continue to hold a special place in fans’ hearts.

Reliance Entertainment, along with Akshay’s fan community, has been actively promoting the re-release, reinforcing the growing trend of Bollywood classics making a return to the big screen. With Namastey London, Akshay Kumar is set to reconnect with audiences through a film that showcased his versatility as a romantic lead and even earned him a Filmfare nomination for Best Actor.

As the re-release date approaches, fans are eagerly gearing up to relive the film’s romance, comedy, and unforgettable moments on the silver screen once again.
