Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has remained the busiest actor in the country for many years and adding another project to his busy schedule, the actor announced the third collaboration with filmmaker Anand L Rai. Following Atrangi Re and Raksha Bandhan, the third outing with Anand L Rai will feature the real-life story of Major General Ian Cardozo.

Akshay Kumar is known to portray characters of national interest throughout his career and following the patriotism vibe, the actor will present the story of Major General Ian Cardozo who fought and showcased his bravery in 1962, 1965, and particularly in 1971’s India-Pakistan war. Major Cardozo stepped on a live landmine during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and had to amputate his legs using a machete due to the unavailability of a proper doctor.
