According to a source close to the production of the horror-comedy, Akshay Kumar will appear in a cameo in the Rakummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starter. According to the report, the makers of the franchise felt that Kapoor’s comedy timing, even for a few minutes, would elevate the entire sequence. However, there has been no confirmation by the makers so far and the details of the reported scene remain a mystery for now.
On the other hand, it is also being reported that the viewers will also see Varun Dhawan making a brief appearance as Bhediya, part of Dinesh Vijan’s ambitious horror comedy universe. Additionally, a clip of Tamannaah Bhatia from the film has gone viral, indicating her cameo in the upcoming venture.
Stree 2, helmed by Amar Kaushik, will see the villagers of Chanderi facing another horror crisis. The horror sequel to the 2018 superhit film is set for release on August 15. Interestingly, another comedy, Khel Khel Mein, featuring Akshay Kumar alongside Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal, is also slated for release on the same day.
