Bhool Bhulaiyaa is one of the most iconic movies of Akshay Kumar which released in the year 2007 and recently the makers announced a sequel to the horror-comedy. While Kartik Aaryan has been locked for the lead character of the second instalment of the franchise, latest reports support that Akshay Kumar may appear in the movie.
The director of the movie, Anees Bazmee, said in a statement that he is good friends with Akshay Kumar as they have done many movies together including Welcome and Singh Is Kinng, and they share a great relationship. Talking about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the director said that he wishes Akshay Kumar to be a part of the movie as well.
While Akshay Kumar is busy with other commitments, there are rumours that the makers of the horror-comedy have approached him to play a cameo in the movie alongside Kartik Aaryan. However, nothing has been confirmed yet and we will have to wait for an official confirmation on the same.
Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will star Kartik Aaryan in the lead and the story of the movie will be more inclined towards the comic part. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the film is scheduled for a release next year.
