Akshay Kumar has been giving back to back super hit and blockbuster movies in a row and the superstar is currently shooting for his upcoming cop-drama, Sooryavanshi. While Akshay Kumar has a lineup of upcoming projects in his pipeline, he decided to postpone the release of his actioner, Bachchan Pandey, to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chadhdha.
Recently, Aamir Khan had a conversation with Akshay Kumar and the makers of Bachchan Pandey in order to avoid the clash with his next, Laal Singh Chaddha, for the betterment of both the movies at the box office. While Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala agreed to postpone the release of their actioner, the actor took to his social media handle to announce the new release date of his movie along with a new look poster.
Sharing a rugged look for his movie, the actor wrote, “New look, new release date. Coming on 22nd January, 2021. In and as #BachchanPandey” The movie which was earlier slated to release on Christmas will now be releasing on the 22nd of January next year in order to keep Christmas exclusive to Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
Helmed by Farhad Samji and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Bachchan Pandey stars Akshay Kumar in the titular character with Kriti Sanon playing his love interest.
