Khiladi Kumar turns 52 today and on the occasion of his birthday, the actor took to his social media handles to announce his upcoming epic drama, Prithviraj. It was earlier confirmed that Akshay Kumar will play the grand ruler Prithviraj Chauhan in his upcoming historic drama.
Announcing the project, Akshay Kumar shared a teaser of the movie on his social media handles and wrote, “Elated to share about my 1st historical film on my birthday! Talking about the project, Akshay Kumar said that it was an honour for him to play the role of one of the most fearless and courageous kings of India, Prithviraj Chauhan. Earlier the actor was seen in the historical drama Kesari alongside Parineeti Chopra and the movie was loved by the audience and the critics alike.
Helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie is slated to a release on Diwali 2020.
