Akshay Kumar has been on a roll lately with back to back movie announcements. While the actor is currently busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s cop-drama, Sooryavanshi, he has finalized multiple projects for the next year. The latest report suggests that in addition to the five upcoming movies, Akshay Kumar has given his nod for Ekta Kapoor’s action-comedy.

As per the report, Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Ekta Kapoor will be reuniting once again post the gangster-drama, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara, that released in the year 2013. If media reports are to be believed, the actor finalized working on the project a week ago and the makers are currently working on the script. To be helmed by a debutant director, the untitled action-comedy will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule next year.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for the actioner, Sooryavanshi, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in the prominent characters along with Katrina Kaif as the love interest of the titular character. After the highly-speculated cop-drama, Akshay Kumar will begin shooting for the horror-comedy, Laxmmi Bomb, which will be released on Eid this year.

For the next year, the 52-year-old actor has a line-up of Atrangi ReBachchan Pandey and Bell Bottom in his pipeline. Since the actor doesn’t want to be restricted to one genre, he is keen on singing multiple projects in diverse scripts.
