South superstar Ajith is all set in his white veshti and shirt to enthrall the audience with his forthcoming movie ‘Viswasam’ alongside Nayanthara in the lead. The trailer is a complete banger, making it a perfect massy film for Pongal release this year.
Directed by Vivegam director Sivakumar Jayakumar popularly known as Siva, the movie presents Ajith as Thooku Durai, a local don from Theni district of Koduvularpatti involved in rural feud, who has a great reputation in the village and is massively respected by his folks.
The trailer of the movie starts with a hero–like-entry of Thooku Durai twirling his mustache and twisting his veshti, performing some high voltage stunts, trying to flirt & romance Nayanthara who plays his love interest in the movie. The two are sharing screen together after a decade, last they paired up in 2013’s Vishnuvardhan’s Arrambam. The charming pair of Ajith and Nayanythara is all prepped to create their onscreen magical charm yet again with ‘Viswasam’.
Produced by Sathya Jyothi films, the action drama will also feature Jayapathi Babu fitting in the shoes of the antagonist. The cast of the movie will also be joined by Robo Shankar, Thambi Ramaiah, Vivek Ramesh Thilak, Sandhya Janak, Sujatha Sivakumar and Namo Narayana.
The movie is set to release on 14th January, where it will see a clash with the Rajnikanth’s ‘Petta’ which is also going to be a Pongal release on 11th January. The trailer of which was released last week and has the fans rooting for their Thalaivar, as they get to see their classic Rajni, not the one who does massy films, but the one who did rooted movies that has mass appeal.
