Yash Raj Films are leaving no stones unturned to make the year more amazing for the production house. While YRF is celebrating 50 years in the entertainment industry, there has been back to back movie announcements with the biggest of stars and lavish budgets. The production banner has already announced movies with superstars including Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, and Katrina Kaif, the production house had announced a superhero franchise with Ajay Devgn in the lead.

It was earlier informed that Ajay Devgn has finally signed a YRF after letting bygones be bygones and the latest developments have it that the movie is to be made on a massive scale. As per the sources close to the pre-production of the superhero project, Ajay Devgn’s maiden film with YRF has been sanctioned a whopping budget of Rs 180 crore making it amongst the costliest film for Ajay Devgn till date.

The sources have also revealed that the movie will have Ajay Devgn playing the antagonist with Ahaan Pandey playing the superhero. The movie is said to be focused on the villain and Ajay Devgn will play the central character throughout the franchise. The movie will be helmed by debutant director Shiv Rawail and an official announcement is likely to be made on September 27.
