Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh broke the unfortunate news through his Twitter handle that Ajay Devgn’s father Veeru Devgan passed away today in the morning.
In the Tweet, Tarun Adarsh wrote, “Veeru Devgan passed away this morning [27 May 2019]…Father of Ajay Devgn… Veeru ji was an accomplished action director… Also directed #HindustanKiKasam, starring son Ajay with Amitabh Bachchan… Funeral will be held today at 6 pm… Heartfelt condolences to Devgn family. (sic)”
Veeru Devgan was a celebrated stunt director in Bollywood who has worked in more than 80 movies in the Bollywood industry. He introduced Ajay Devgn in the acting industry through the
movie Phool Aur Kante. He has also choreographed action sequences in the super hit movies like Mr. India, Himmatwala, Shahanshah, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Khoon Bhari Maang.
The exact cause of his demise has not been revealed yet but as per reports, he has died of the old age. The funeral ceremony will be held at 6 in the evening at Devgan residence. EntNetwrk expresses its heartfelt condolences to the Devgan family!
