In unfortunate news, Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday at the Hiranandani Hospital after suffering ill health for a long time. While the cause of her death is being reported as old age in the initial reports, the B-town is mourning her unfortunate demise and paid condolences.

Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter handle to inform his friends and fans about his loss and tweeted, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”

Paying condolences and mourning the loss of friend Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan took to his social media and wrote, “Dear Akki, very sad to hear of the passing of your mother. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family .. @akshaykumar.”

“Dear Akki, Heartfelt condolences on your mother’s passing away. May Arunaji’s soul find eternal peace. Condolences to you & your family. Om Shanti,” wrote Ajay Devgn.

“Dear Akshay paji, it’s very sad to hear about your mother passing away, my deepest condolences to you and family, god bless the departed soul ॐ शांति,” wrote Kapil Sharma.
