After the massive success of Shaitaan, Devgn Films and Panorama Studios are reuniting for an exciting new project titled Jhalak. This horror-comedy promises to deliver a perfect mix of chills and laughs, with Aaman Devgan, who is set to debut in Azaad, taking the lead role.
Devgn Films and Panorama Studios, known for their bold and innovative ventures, are thrilled to continue their collaboration while also spotlighting fresh talent. Speaking about the film, Ajay Devgn shared, “After Shaitaan, we wanted to explore a genre that combines the best of horror and comedy. Jhalak offers exactly that, and with the talented team working on it, we’re confident audiences will love this unique cinematic experience.”
Panorama Studios Chairman Kumar Mangat Pathak added, “Jhalak is a special project for us. It not only strengthens our partnership with Devgn Films but also brings an intriguing story that blends fear and humour in a memorable way. We’re excited to bring this fresh narrative to audiences.”
What sets Jhalak apart is its foundation in a true story, adding a layer of authenticity to its mix of humour and horror. The film will be directed by Umang Vyas, who previously helmed the Gujarati blockbuster Jhamkudi. Joining the creative team is Tushar Ajgaonkar, the acclaimed writer of Munjya, known for his captivating storytelling style.
Produced by Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, Jhalak is currently in pre-production, with filming expected to begin soon. Details about the supporting cast and release date are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
