Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been working on the drama-thriller, Gangubai Kathiwadi, based on real-life events for a while and the latest report has it that Ajay Devgn has joined the cast as an underworld don.
According to a source close to the development of the movie, Ajay Devgn has agreed to do a cameo in the highly-anticipated movie after a request by the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The director-actor duo has earlier worked together in the memorable movie, Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam. Earlier, Ajay and Sanjay were to collaborate for Bajirao Mastani which was initially offered to Ajay Devgn.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt started filming the movie in December last year after certain restrictions were lifted by the government. If the production goes as expected, the movie is expected to release by the end of the year.
