Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Ajay Devgn have worked together in a number of memorable movies in the past and after almost seven years, the duo will be reuniting on the big screen. However, this time, Ajay Devgn will not only share screen space with the legendary actor but will also direct and produce the movie.
Titled Mayday, the thrilling drama will star Ajay Devgn as a pilot with Amitabh Bachchan playing an undisclosed but pivotal character in the story. While the rest of the cast and crew is being finalized, the movie will be produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms and the actor will also helm the thriller, directing Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. However, details about Amitabh Bachchan’s character is kept under tight wraps for the time being.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is busy with his upcoming war-drama with a promising cast comprising Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk and Pranitha Subhash. Mayday is likely to go on the floors by the end of this year in Hyderabad after Ajay Devgn wraps Bhuj: The Pride of India.
