Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all prepared to make his digital debut with the Hindi remake of the popular British psychological crime drama television series, Luther. An announcement was made earlier with the first look poster of the highly-anticipated web series and now a source states that the veteran is charging a bomb for the digital debut.

Ajay Devgn will star in the official remake of Luther which originally features Idris Elba as the protagonist and Ajay Devgn will be stepping into his shoes in Rudra – The Edge of Darkness. The actor is to start filming for the show in July and according to a source close to the development of the project, Ajay is charging INR 125 crore for the series, which adds him to the list of highest-paid OTT actors in India.

Ajay and Disney+ Hostar shares a great rapport which was the reason behind the actor’s much-awaited digital debut. The upcoming war-action movie Bhuj: The Pride Of India, featuring Ajay Devgn and Shraddha Kapoor in the key roles, has also been acquired for a digital premiere by Disney+ Hostar.

To be helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar, Rudra – The Edge of Darkness will feature Ajay Devgn alongside Ileana D’Cruz and it is slated for streaming by the end of the current year.
