After sharing screen space in Runway 34, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh will be reuniting for another project co-starring Sidharth Malhotra in a key role. Touted to be a one-of-its-kind comedy set in a fantasy world, Thank God was slated for a release in July, however, the makers have confirmed that the movie will be skipping the release date.
Confirming the news, producer Bhushan Kumar said, “Thank God has been delayed because of extensive VFX work. We will announce a new date shortly.” Other details of the keenly anticipated movie have been kept under wraps for now and the movie will be making its way to the theatres by the end of the current year. Meanwhile, Bhushan Kumar’s other project and sequel to the blockbuster, Ek Villain, will be released in the slot reserved for Thank God.
Talking about other projects in the line-up, Bhushan Kumar said, “I have a lot of films up for release. There is Action Hero with Ayushmann Khurrana, Bholaa and Drishyam 2 with Ajay sir, Vikram Vedha with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, Luv Ranjan film with Ranbir Kapoor. We are also doing multiple projects with Rajkummar Rao, which will be announced soon.”
Meanwhile, we are expected to get an official announcement by the production house on the new release date of the movie featuring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.
