Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn turned 52 yesterday and the makers of his upcoming film, RRR, released his official look from the movie. On the other hand, the film crew of his other in-production movie, MayDay, are facing trouble for not following COVID-19 safety protocols at the film set.

According to the report, the crew were shooting in Vasai since last month but during police patrolling, a couple dozen members on the film set were found to be neglecting precautionary measures during the production activities. Police Inspector Bhausaheb Ahire of Manikpur police reveals that around 15 people on the set were not wearing face masks and social distancing were not practised among the crew members.

“Around 15 people at the set were not following COVID rules. Either they were not wearing masks, or it was hanging down to protect their chins. They were also not maintaining social distancing. We have asked them to bring down the set,” the police official said. The crew has been booked under Sections 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 269 (Act likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life) of the Indian Penal Code.

Helmed by Ajay Devgn himself, MayDay features him alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles.
