Indian actor Ajay Devgn is currently busy promoting his recent release, Runway 34, with co-actor Rakul Preet Singh as the movie lived up to the expectation of the critics. In a recent interaction with the media, the actor was asked about his future projects and if we can expect a sequel to his other 2019 movie with Rakul Preet Singh, De De Pyaar De.

Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn shared the screen in the biographical thriller inspired by a true event of the Jet Airways Doha to Kochi flight 9W 555, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft that had a narrow escape on 18 August 2015. After facing difficulties landing at the Cochin International Airport due to bad weather and unclear visibility at 5:45 in the morning and the aircraft had to be diverted to Trivandrum International Airport and a huge investigation was carried out to understand the incident. Along with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, Amitabh Bachchan also plays a crucial role in the movie.

During a promotional event for Runway 34, Ajay Devgn and co-actor Rakul Preet Singh were interacting with the media when they were questioned on the possibility of De De Pyaar De sequel. Replying in the affirmative, Ajay Devgn said, “I think they are writing the script. Let’s see when.” While the actor didn’t share many details of the development, he confirmed that a sequel is likely on the cards and we can expect an announcement soon.
