Ajay Devgn has always been inclined towards fictional and non-fictional characters that portray passion and valours towards patriotism. While the actor has been an integral part of several movies that showcase the strength and spirit of men in uniform, his next release, Bhuj: The Pride of India, will also share the same premise. Meanwhile, Devgn joined hands with Select Media holdings LLP to bring another patriotic movie which will be based on the recent Galwan Valley incident.

Ajay Devgn Ffilms and Select Media holdings LLP will be co-producing the movie to showcase the strength, bravery and sacrifice of the Indian army during the infiltration of China at the Galwan Valley. In the recent border tussle between the Indian and Chinese army on the 15 of June, 20 Indian soldiers from the 16th Bihar Regiment martyred for the nation’s pride. 20 soldiers which also included commanding officer, Colonel Santosh Babu, fought for territorial integrity and sovereignty of India and pushed back the force of the Chinese army.

While the announcement has been made, finalizing the cast and crew for the movie is under discussion as well as the title for the movie of the army’s interest. With the Coronavirus crisis in place, the pre-production might take longer than usual and the movie is expected to go on the floors in 2021.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn recently announced the new release date of his movie, Maidaan, which revolves around the journey of one of the finest coaches that emerged from India and put the country on the global map. Starring Ajay Devgn and Priyamani as the fresh pair, Maidaan is rescheduled to release on the 13th August 2021.
