The ‘King of Bollywood’ aka Shah Rukh Khan is all prepared to make a comeback after years of self-imposed sabbatical and the actor will be reuniting with co-actor Deepika Padukone for the fourth time. While the fans couldn’t wait to see the two romances on the big screen and bring back memories, SRK and Deepika will reunite on the big screens ahead of the Pathaan release.
Deepika Padukone made her anticipated acting debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan’s romantic drama Om Shanti Om and the movie is re-releasing in theatres once again. Initiated by an SRK’s fan club, the film will be screened in over 20 cities across the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Patna, Bhopal, and Ahmedabad. Earlier, the same was done for another SRK movie, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, where the film minted 25 lakh rupees years after its original release.
Days ago, Shah Rukh Khan congratulated Deepika Padukone on completing 15 years in the industry and wrote, “To 15 fabulous years of excellence… perseverance…amazing performances with you and the warm hugs!! Here’s looking at you…Looking at you. and looking at you…and still looking at you.”
Written and directed by Farah Khan, the re-incarnation drama Om Shanti Om featured Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in dual roles along with Shreyas Talpade, Kirron Kher and Arjun Rampal in key roles.
