DCEU is undergoing a reboot and has been bombarding its fans with one news after another. While some of the updates cheer the fans as they will get to witness a new universe, the majority are devastating for the fans of the original characters. Earlier this week, the director and CEO of DC Universe, James Gunn, announced the scrapping of Wonder Woman 3 along with Henry Cavill’s Superman. The latest update is another blow to Henry’s fans as the production house has reportedly scrapped his cameo from Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
Just a day ago, Henry Cavill shared a heartfelt note on his exit from the DCEU after announcing his return a month ago. The actor who left Netflix’s fantasy series, The Witcher, to prepare for his return as Superman, was left hopeless when the studio decided to go ahead with a younger actor to play the iconic superhero. However, his fans were optimistic to get to watching him donning the red cape one last time in the upcoming The Flash, but that is no longer happening.
Reportedly, Henry Cavill’s anticipated cameo for Ezra Miller’s The Flash has been omitted with the vision to reboot the franchise. While there has been no official confirmation regarding the same, The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez confirmed the news through his social media handle.
