Aditya Roy Kapur is on a roll with back to back big banner movie shootings and the actor has been experimenting with different genre cinemas for a while. While the actor has been impressing his fans with his social media posts, he will be seen in a completely new avatar for the official Hindi remake of the Tamil-language action thriller film, Thadam, and the film went on the floors today.
Taking to its Twitter handle, production house T-Series shared a picture of Aditya Roy Kapur with the clapboard of Thadam remake in his hands. The caption of the picture read, “On this auspicious day of #Dussehra, we are ready to begin the adventure of a lifetime! Shoot for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit #Thadam commences today!”

Based on true events, the Thadam remake features Aditya Roy Kapur in a double role along with Mrunal Thakur as a cop. Mrunal who is very excited to be a part of the movie says, “My character is intriguing, and playing a cop has been on my checklist. This will be distinct from all the characters I have played till now.”
