Renowned singer and host, Aditya Narayan, has recently decided to take a major turn in his career as he decided to quit hosting reality shows to pursue his childhood dreams. The 34-year-old says that he has spent many years hosting reality shows and now his heart has told him to work on his dreams.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Aditya Narayan opened up on his career, his ambitions and future goals. In the interaction, he mentioned that he has hosted over 400 episodes and it is time for a change. “Since 2015 I’ve hosted 4 seasons of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, that’s 170 episodes. 2 seasons of Indian Idol amounting to 120 episodes, 1 season of Khatra Khatra Khatra a total of 110 episodes. That’s a grand total of 400 episodes. Other shows that I’ve hosted are Khatron Ke Khiladi, Rising Star, Entertainment Ki Raat, Kitchen Champion, Zee Comedy Show,” he added.

The actor-singer further added that he has some hosting gigs lined up already which include another season of singing reality shows, Sa Re Ga Ma PaIndian Idol and a kid’s singing show. Sharing his future ambitions which led him to quit hosting, Aditya Narayan said, “It’s time to move on to something much bigger in my life. I wish to produce content now….Music albums as well as content for OTT & TV. It’s the right time. My heart is sure that this is what I want to do.”

He further added that he wants to work on his childhood dream of winning a Grammy for India. “It’s also time to work on my childhood dream of winning a Grammy for India. All eyes are on India. It’s our time to shine globally. We just need to put our heads down and put in the hard work,” he said.
