Actress Sanjana Sanghi admits that for her, trying to concentrate on work has been very difficult and challenging at this time when the country is battling the second wave of Covid-19. Currently work is not her topmost priority but yet focusing has been quite a challenge.

She elaborates that to zone in creatively has not been easy. She has been reading scripts while pivoting programmes and at the same time, trying to arrange oxygen concentrators for a tribal area has been a challenge that she hasn’t taken over earlier. Thus, her attention has been shift shifty.

Additionally, she feels lucky that somehow the last lockdown taught her a lot, and that was the first time she got to experience the toughest time since there were no hectic schedules from being in various cities and being on set all the time.

With the second wave, she says that all the actor are keen to ensure the Thatcherism family is safe. She believes that one shouldn’t take on anxiety as it will serve no benefit and get back responsibly to work only when it’s absolutely safe.

To help people deal with the stress of pandemic, Sanjana has initiated a mental health campaign titled Here To Hear. She has collaborated with Save The Children and has been offering support in remote parts of India with the mission “Protect A Million”.
The second wave made her figure out ways in which she can extend and contribute. She was inspired by how people were coming together and doing incredible work. Hear To Hear was initiated too, to fill this gap.

Amidst all this, many have extended hands to help with supplies and immediate provisions. Sanjana on the other hand thought about the emotional aspect and how the second wave has left people devastated. With this programme, she will able to overcome stigmas associated with this and provide psychological help to curb anxiety. The feedback on the programme has been overwhelming. Within three to four hours, the actress informs that all the slots had filled up and they experienced a double up on manpower.
