National-award winning Malayalam actress Manju Warrier recently took legal measures against filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon for allegedly endangering her life and defaming her through various online campaigns as she filed a police complaint.

In her complaint directly handed over to Kerala Police Chief, DGP Lokanath Behera, Manju Warrier accused Odiyan director Shrikumar Menon of attempts to defame her through organized social media campaigns and threatening her friends. She also alleged that Shrikumar Menon might endanger her life.

In the handwritten complaint handed over to DGP, the actress also mentioned that her blank cheques and letter pads of Manju Warrier Foundation signed by her were being misused by Shrikumar Menon. As per reports, Manju also attached digital evidence to back her complaint.

On the other hand, Shrikumar Menon took to his social media handle to share his side of the story as he wrote, “When you left from your house, you were worried that you just had Rs 1500 in your bank account. When I handed over a cheque in Coimbatore for RS 25 lakh as advance for your first ad film with me, I remember you saying that God had sent an angel in the form of Shrikumar Menon to help me. You have forgotten that.”
