Renowned Indian actress and politician, Khushbu Sundar escaped a severe road accident unhurt on Wednesday morning. The actress, who has worked acted in more than 200 movies, took to her social media handle to share a picture of the impact as she thanked God for saving her life.

Khushbu Sundar was in her car near Melmaruvathur town in Tamil Nadu when a tanker rammed into her vehicle. Police have started an investigation to rule out any foul play. “Met with an accident near Melmarvathur..a tanker rammed into us. With your blessings and God’s grace I am safe. Will continue my journey towards Cuddalore to participate in #VelYaatrai #Police are investigating the case. #LordMurugan has saved us. My husband’s trust in him is seen,” she wrote on her social media as she shared pictures of her rammed vehicle.

In another tweet, the actress also mentioned that her vehicle was in the right lane when the accident happened and requested the press to not mislead the unfortunate event. “Request the press to understand that a container rammed into me and not the other way. My car was on the move in the right lane and this container came from nowhere and rammed into me. Police are investigating n questioning the driver to rule out any foul play,” her tweet read.

On the work front, will be next seen opposite Rajinikanth in his upcoming film Annaatthe, which has been postponed owing to the Coronavirus crisis. Helmed by Siruthai Siva, the rural drama also stars Meena, Keerthy Suresh and Nayanthara as prominent characters.
