For actress Anjum Fakih, Eid this year calls for a low-key celebration due to the pandemic. Similar to the last year, this year too, she is confined indoors with her family.

The actress informs that just like last year, this year too, will be a low-key celebration at home with her family. Her mother will be cooking some delicious food for the family and all of them will be spending some quality time with each other.

Additionally, Anjum says that moving out of the house to celebrate the festival is out of the question, therefore her family has planned a small celebration indoors. She will be helping her mother in cooking the mouth-watering delicacies that she prepares as well as spend some time chatting with my parents and sisters.

The actress reveals that her family has always celebrated Eid in a rather big way and the festival has always been special for her and her family. She believes in celebrating it with a lot of enthusiasm, excitement and fanfare each year. It is a huge affair at her home and it also involves their visits to their friends and relative’s houses.

She recalls the sweet and pleasant memories attached to The festival. She tells how, each year, she would dress up in the finest clothes as a child and excitedly wait for all the elders to give her Eidi. The actress says that they would also have a family get together followed by a dawaat of biryani and sheer khurma. She says would continue to take place for a week and all relatives would visit her house and they would all catch up with their cousins and party in beautiful ethnic outfits.

At the same time, Anjum urges her fans and followers to not step out as well. She requests everyone to not move out unnecessarily and in any urgent times, if they do, they must mask up and follow the protocols.
