The entire Bollywood industry has come together against the viral pandemic and every celebrity, big or small, is doing their bit to support the government to fight the deadly disease in every way possible. While many Bollywood celebrity has announced their contribution to the PM-CARES Fund and state relief funds, Aamir Khan has reportedly donated his share quietly.
As per the report, superstar Aamir Khan has also come in support of the ongoing fight against the Coronavirus and donated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PM-CARES Fund and Maharashtra’s CM Relief Fund without making it public. Additionally, the 3 Idiots actor has also lent his support to the daily wage workers of his upcoming movie, Laal Singh Chaddha, since the shooting of the movie was suspended amid the outbreak.
While Aamir Khan has decided to make his contribution to the cause without publically announcing it, many other celebrities have taken to their social media handles to announce their support in order to motivate others to contribute to the cause. Akshay Kumar was the first to announce his contribution to PM-CARES Fund after Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged everyone to lend their support against COVID-19.
On the work front, Aamir Khan will next be seen in the Hindi adaptation of the classic Hollywood movie, Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks in the titular character. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the movie stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the key roles.
