Aamir Khan, who walked out of the biopic of the legendary music producer Gulshan Kumar a year ago, has joined the project once again. The actor earlier responded to the sexual misconduct allegations against the director and he quit the project which he was producing along with wife Kiran Rao.

Talking to a news daily, the actor said that he was troubled with the thought that his decision might have caused trouble to Subhash Kapoor which made him change his decision. Aamir Khan said that he talked with a handful of women who have worked with the director in the past and leant that not a single person said anything against him.

After taking everything into consideration, he decided to revise his decision and wrote a letter to Indian Film and Television Director’s Association that he would like to come back to the film. The actor will essay the role of Gulshan Kumar in the biopic and will also helm the producer’s chair.

The movie was earlier offered to Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan but things didn’t work out between them. Now that Aamir Khan is back on the project, the movie is expected to go in the pre-production phase soon.
