Aamir Khan had a rough last year after his biggest project, Thugs of Hindostan, failed to mint coins at the box office. Known for experiments, Aamir Khan is all prepared to make a come back with another big project which he announced recently. Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood will next be seen in the official Hindi remake of classic Hollywood hit Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks.

Aamir Khan will be reuniting with Kareena Kapoor Khan for the remake of Forrest Gump titled as Lal Singh Chaddha. The movie will revolve around a retarded man who goes on a lifelong journey to witness some of the most monumental events in history. The film will showcase some of the biggest highlights in the last five decades of the nation including the Kargil War and Uri attack.

According to the source, the movie will start from the 70s and end at the present decade. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor will have a different look in every era and is expected to sport 4-5 different avatars as they age with time. Currently, the makers of the movie are working on the looks which were prevalent in each era.

Helmed by Advait Chandan, Lal Singh Chaddha is expected to go floors in the month of October and will be shot in three back to back schedules.
