Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho has been hitting the right chords ever since the makers announced the project. The multi-crore actioner became of the most hyped movies of the year and fans have been eagerly waiting for its release. The recent buzz suggests that the makers might postpone the release of the movie but the movie is expected to release in the next month only. Meanwhile, we learnt about a new fact about the movie.
According to a source close to the development of the movie, an action scene of the movie has costed a bomb to the makers. While Saaho is already touted to be the most expensive action movie of India, the numbers are just unreal. According to the report, an 8-minute long action sequence of the much-awaited movie has cost the makers a whopping 70 crore INR, which is apparently the most expensive action scene in the Indian film industry.
The action scene was shot in Abu Dhabi and used customized superbikes, cars and trucks for the high-speed road rampage. The scene is speculated to be one of the major highlights of the Sujeeth directorial, Saaho.
Bankrolled by UV Creations, the movie will star Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the leads along with Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Pandey, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay and Mandira Bedi in pivotal characters. Saaho was earlier scheduled for the Independence Day release but the latest developments suggest that the actioner will hit the theatres by the end of August.
