The future of DCEU is uncertain as the upcoming superhero movie, The Flash, featuring Ezra Miller in multiple roles is an important key in connecting the entire universe and taking the stories forward. However, the controversies related to the lead actor in recent years have caused restless nights for the producers at Warner Bros.

For the unversed, The Flash actor Ezra Miller have been under the radar for multiple serious allegations against them and they have been arrested multiple times for their erratic behaviour. While the production house has been waiting for the legal complications to fade out, it seems unlikely as Ezra Miller is getting in one trouble after another. Now, if the reports are to be believed, Warner Bros has weighed options for The Flash.

The production house has three possible scenarios for the fate of the upcoming speedster movie. First is hoping Ezra Miller to seek professional help after returning home to their farm in Vermont after being away and explain their erratic behaviour over the past few years in a press conference. If this happens, the production house can move forward with the release with a limited press.

The second option considering Ezra don’t reach out for help, their role would be reduced prominently in terms of marketing and publicity. The movie will be released amid controversies and future DC movies will have a different star in the Flash’s shoes. However, the movie might expect a large-scale protest and be the victim of online cancel culture which will affect the business greatly.

The last option is, if the situation and allegations worsen further, shelving the entire project altogether with a loss of the entire production so far. Ezra play multiple characters in the movie and it is not possible to keep the already shot movie and reshoot with a different actor for some scenes. If the production house will need to change the lead, the entire movie will have to be reshot and is likely to hit the backburner if it happens.
